What You Need to Make Reels

Ready to make reels/TikToks?? I can’t wait to see what you create!!

Below are the tools I myself use and recommend.

Some of those listed below are affiliate links, which means I might profit should click through and make a purchase. That said, again these are all things I myself have invested in, so you can trust I’d recommend them even if I weren’t an affiliate!

Tools for Making Videos

For additional stock videos as needed:

Canva – Canva is a fabulous platform that makes designing easy, even for beginners! It has a free version with design templates you can customize to fit your brand or you can start completely from scratch.

Stencil – Stencil makes image creation incredibly easy! If you’re not at all comfortable with graphic design or want a different set of templates and stock photos to choose from, definitely give Stencil a go.

Video Editing Software:

ScreenCastomatic – Record your screen, yourself, or both with ScreenCastomatic! At its price point, it truly cannot be beat. You can also add music, narration, and edit your videos. I’ve used it since 2016 and it’s fantastic!

YouCut – This is if you’re making videos strictly on your phone, which is the route I take 90% of the time. Love this app! Unfortunately it is currently Android-only.

InShot – My secondary recommendation for non-Android users.

Equipment

The following is the equipment I currently use and most of it was purchased from Amazon. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases and get commissions for purchases mae through links in this post.
